Today we present the publication “Communicating the Mediterranean with a Feminist Perspective” which collects the presentations that took place at the International Journalists’ Day with the same title, a day that we organized on November 4 and 5, 2021 in Barcelona, and which gathered in our city to 22 journalists representing 14 countries.
“Communicating the Mediterranean with a Feminist Perspective” aims to create spaces for dialogue and communication, where information circulates with a gender perspective, as well as creating ties to defend the rights of women, in general, and that of journalists, in particular.
We were able to hold the Conferences thanks to the support of the International Relations Department of Barcelona City Council. And this publication, edited in Catalan, Spanish and English, has been possible thanks to the support of the General Directorate for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights of the Department of Equality and Feminism of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
